Uvodni čas posvećen određivanju i definisanju Barokne kulture i umetnosti,
pored vizuelnog materijala, izdvojeno je poglavlje iz knjige ''Srpsko barokno slikarstvo'', prof. M. Timotijevića, koje Barok definiše kao stilsku i istorijsku kategoriju.
Takođe kao dodatnu literaturu za pripremu ispita srdačno preporučujemo knjigu: ''The Age of the Baroque and Enlightenment 1600–1800'', Editor Philip M. Soergel, koju možete preuzeti u pdf. formatu.
